Hi, our's is an unbelievable movie style story, it's like we were destined to meet sooner and later, and BharatMatrimony.com has been an excellent middleman. I belong to the city of joy, Calcutta and Pramit is from NewDelhi, currently working with citibank, Singapore. It happened so that his matrimony advertisement had come out in a highly esteemed newspaper in Calcutta, at which my parents made an attempt to contact his parents to proceed matters further. At that time we were in Calcutta, august 2003, but for some reason or the other the proposal didn't work out then. Another co-incidence was that both his sister and mine are permanent residents of Singapore, although Pramit's family had no clue about mine. Next month, in Sept 2003, I had come to Singapore to visit my sister and now the most interesting part of the story starts. I had gone shopping with my sis and mom to Mustafa, one of the most busiest and confusing places in Singapore. Suddenly I was approached by a young woman with a child who turned out to be Pramit's sister. She said that the previous night they had seen my profile in BharatMatrimony.com (and was hence interested in an alliance) where even her brother has his profile listed. After that I met Pramit in Singapore itself, both of us liked each other immediately and decided to think further about marriage.
